Did you snap the off the bolt part, leaving just the tip of the o2 sensor and its threads in the manifold?

lol don't blame the civic.

It would be nice to know or see how much is actually left in it... Maybe you can punch the rest through, don't worry about breaking it since it's already broke, if you can't get it out the right way you might as well break it more until it goes through.

hmm that might work but wouldnt i damage the threads? also i dont think i'll be able to punch it out, theres still a decent part of metal in there.

if the threaded portion is still in the EM, just extract it out and put in new one

You may need to use a fire wrench too. AKA torch to heat the hell out of it. It will come out easier that way. Actually, you may have wanted to use the "fire wrench" in the first place because it may not have broke.

Or you could run the car for a while if you dont have access to a torch.

Drill out the center of it, then chisel the old pieces of thread off.

Yeah that's why I said it's kinda important he tell us how much is left. If there's even a little bit sticking out the top he should be able to get something and twist it out, if not he'll have to extract it like others said.

You can get extraction screws, you just drill a hole in the sensor then drill the extraction screw backwards and it takes it out.
