Level Ten installed
I got my car back last week and this weekend I put some new MSD wires and Iridium plugs in and took it for a test drive. The transmission is awesome! No more slushbox. It shifts harder and faster and so much better. Anyone who says the Level Ten conversion isn't worth the money is probably some kind of all-out racer or pushing way to much horse power around. I know that some Supra guys were suing Level Ten, but I'm not going for 800 whp and I'm not complaining with my H22 and being NA. I'm just going to get some porting and polishing, maybe cams, tb, and keep it a nice NA Accord.
Thanks. The transmission shop that put mine in said they have done a few before and had no problems as of yet. They thought Level Ten made a good kit. They also told me to drive normal for about 500 miles before I start slamming on the gas hard. I haven't gotten on it to much yet. If it did fail, believe me, everyone would know about it. I would post **** on every web board/site I could find and then I'd be driving my other Honda out to New Jersey to find the guy from Level Ten and he wouldn't be happy to see me.
What all did you get from them.... rebuild kit, converter, etc?
I had good luck with their stuff in my auto prelude si but the only catch was I needed an extra tranny cooler to keep the excess killer heat in check. It was a daily driver car and the converter slipped a bit at moderate crusing speed, well unless I kept it in drive with the rpms up near lockup (which got kinda old).

I got the parts kit for the transmission and the torque converter rebuild. I had to send the torque converter to New Jersey and they did what they had to do and sent it back. It really is an improvement and I can't wait to take it to a track.
Speeking from experiance. Once you start to add some decent power behind it it won't last. I had the shift kit and the torque converter installed on my owen car and they only lasted around 2000 miles. Good luck man. Hope yours lasts longer.

The Level Ten parts kit was $398, torque converter was $598. My local transmission shop labor was $800. Was it worth it? Probably not, but I like my car a lot.
