Ever Seen JDM ITR HID Headlamps...OPENED!?

Believe it or not, but the shield is the same as the USDM Integra halogen housings. It isn't the same as an S2000 despite some theories on it possibly being similar.

did you do that just to figure out some things becuz if so, you have way too much time on your hands. cool that you did it tho

Nope. Have you ever seen OEM HID JDM R lamps coming at you? There's insane glare. No flicker or anything, just glare. I opened them because LHD > RHD on US roads. Especially when there's HID involved.

That pic is the JDM OEM HID projector on the left, and the USDM halogen projector on the right. notice the size difference.
I don't know if you knew it but, the projectors are just half crystal *****. They're not literally a whole ball themselves. The shield was in the pic with the bulb behind it. You can notice it's RHD by the way it curves.

so are you saying you have to take the lights apart to AIM them towards the right??
because there are 2 adjustment screw on the headlights.. one moves the projector up and down and the other moves left and right.. why cant you just use those??

Nope it's not that easy.

It's still not that easy. I opened them so I can get to the shield and altar it to be true LHD. If you look at the shield it has a small groove in it like so...(RHD)
---------______ --------_______
You have to switch it to go the other way in order for it to be like so...(LHD)
____--------- _____----------
Even if you just use the screws, you're still having glare to oncoming traffic since the shield is diverting all the light that way. You'll have to point them super low at which point you can't see anything for the most part.

That's basically the process for clearing the S2K lenses. Nerve racking at first but once you've done a few it's not that bad.
You can fix the stagger on JDM S2K light with the adjustment screws though.
