403s good for daily driving? need advise
well i just want to know if 403's with valvetrain(spings and retainers) and a stock bottom end would be good for daily driving everyday. all input welcome. thanks
get 404's. don't waste your money on 403's. if you're going to put a bunch of money into cams and valvetrain, just get 404's. i drive them daily and get 30mpg when i'm driving like a sane person. and i don't give a **** about fuel economy half of the time.
403s are better if you don't plan on upping your compression for at least a while. With 404s you'll have a better top end, but a weaker bottom end unless you get 10.5:1+ compression.
I have 403s right now, might go 404s in the future depending on what I do to my engine.
