question about k&n e2427 fitment

question about k&n e2427 fitment
i bought one recently and it doesnt have that rubber "gasket" thing that the stock filter has.. im talking about that rubber circle thing that seals the air box.. ill post pix later if that was confusing as hell. but does anyone know if its supposed to be like this? TIA

mine didn't have it, but i just try to reuse ur stock one. it's only purpose is to really prevent the filter from poking/hitting the resovior coolant
