i'm prepared for flaming, but....

I want a cheap cf hood. Anyone gotten one off ebay and have any good/bad experiences with specific sellers i should know about? whos a good seller to buy from?

i'm only doing this because nobody makes fiberglass OEM hoods for 99-00. it sucks.

 

shipping is terrible. if you can, find a local shop.

 

find a local shop that makes them you mean?

make your own fiberglass hood... create a mold and then fiberglass it... bondo, primer, paint, clear... there you have it in all of its glory!

He isnt flaming he is helping, and if he cant read neither can I because you DID say " I want a CF hood. The fire is about to begin. If you are looking for fiberglass you might really want to look into making your own. As stated before pay close attention to buyers percentages on E-bay and also the shipping charges. They might sell the hood for 100$ and s&h will be like 250$ not such a good deal anymore.

 

wtf? You're flaming someone, stating that they are flaming you, when in fact they are helping. And you say they can't read, when if you look at your own posts you'll see that clearly they can. Maybe your hand is possessed and is typing without your knowledge? BTW, your first line is that you're prepared to be flamed, so even if he was flaming, it should be expected, right?

If you get a cheap carbon fiber hood you'll be looking for another one within a year. If you're going to do something, do it right.

I said i tried to find fiberglass and failed, so that is why i'm looking for cf. That what i said guys. Sometimes you just gotta look in the mirror and say, when in rome.
