Well the STL H-T meet is over and I thought it would be good to start a NOPI event MEET even though it's still early. We had a great turnout at the first meet this year and would like to see everyone at the track. I wasn't there last year but have been the 2 years before. I think we should just get a idea on who's coming and what to look out for. Post pics of your car and setup. I'm not the best with names but remember cars so that's why I say post pics. Plus there will be people going to NOPI that wasn't at the meet. What are your current times and what are your goals for NOPI?

If anyone what's to add in please do. I never started anything like this so someone in the STL area can help out and take over. I just wanted to get a idea on who's coming.

Best times was 13.5 with Homemade intake and dual exuast 15" street tires 75 shot of NX. 2.4 60 ft. times

Here is pics of my car and setup but haven't updated it. Plans in the next couple weeks paint IC piping and clean the **** up. Continue to tune more and more.

Well as Dan knows I'll be there in the Sol. Might even enter the burn out contest with my tow vehicle... hope the weather is more cooperative this year than in years past last year wasn't too bad with temps bad rain ruined the early afternoon. I've always met the coolest people @ Gateway, always willing to help people in need or offer advice on trimming down 60' times to just BSing hope to see more H/T there this year.

Hey I'll be there. So you can run your car just like a test and tune, or is it bracket or what. I'd like to go there and just do some test and tune style or grudge racing.

I will have my gray hatch in the following spec.
1.85 all motor B16
Hoping for at least 210whp
Looking to hit low 13's/12's on street tires.
Maybe I'll have slicks by then or someone will let me borrow their slicks for like 10 bucks for a few runs? Definitely mid 12's is the goal with slicks.
I you want to know more about my setup you'll just have to investigate.

 

friday night is T&T sat/sun is bracket and some open classes if I remember right

plus I think friday night is a midnight madness night too

 

I always do the test & tune part. I don't live by a drag strip so getting the car dialed in and bracket racing isn't me. I plan on going to teh 1/8th mile track 1hr away to get 60ft times down and launches with slicks.

I'd like to see 12's if I could but as long as I beat my old times I'm happy.

And with the test & tune you get alot of runs in if you want. I forgot how many I did 2 years ago.

hmm dont have a pic now but ill edit and add one later! My plans for nopi/ another meet. Hoping to have my civic running by then , and the Integra will be turbocharged by then. Still working out some final plans on what im using size wise. But im going for a all out comfort and performance! , hell yeah a/c and power steering at 10 psi! oh and i will not be running a FMU!!! Hoping to hit high 13s with the integra!

I'll be back again this year

 

I'll be going with my rust bucket Ford if any car is allowed in the Test + Tune, or does it have to be an import? How bad are they usually for the safety rules? I know some tracks freak if you don't pull the chute so if that's the case I'll be letting off 1/8 mile.

 

i wanted to come this year, but I'll actually be in Florida or the middle of the carribean during this event, so i guess i'll have to pass again
