89 crx-b16a2- idle problems.

Default 89 crx-b16a2- idle problems.

i have a 89 crx with a b16a2 and im having idle probs it idles really low and every one says its my idle air control valve but the motors pretty new so how would it go out so fast. then people say its my tps. so what do i do? any ideas? and if this helps its obd1 and p28 ecu.

if it idles low all the time just adjust the idle screw

is your ecu chipped? back then, i ran with a chipped pr3 and it idles like shiet. If i turn on the headlight, the idle would drop and the ecu will never compensate for the additional load. So i went back to the guy that did my swap and he say that chipped ecu tends to do that. But now im running with p2t and everthing works great.

i did adjust the idle screw and it didnt help any.

my ecu is chipped but its obd1 so im running a p28
