hey guys my guage cluster in my Ef hatch is goin really whack. k, this is the story. while im driving, i signal, either left or rite and the Rev tach starts bouncing up and down, the temp gauge. starts climbing, and so does the fuel gauge! i dunno wats happening, i checked all the wiring in the back and the harnesses look fine too me. umm i dunno how to fix but this is this sum elctrical problem or maybe the guage cluster itself is broken? help out plz thanks!

You have an electrical problem with your cluster, check the traces on the back to make sure the ones leading to the turn signals haven't "leaked" over to another.

 

wat do u mean leaked...i looked at the wires, harnesses that plug into it, and they look perfect to me, ill take sum pics tomoro...i think the gauge cluster is messed

 

You see all those nifty copper traces back there? Occasional something causes two or more of them to bridge. By leaking, you'll see mysterious brown stains crossing one or more of the traces, just scratch a gap in the bridge and your set. You will understand what I mean if they are present.

 

ur a genius man! yea the was 1 leak that i found, i scratched it off like u sed and it works perfect now! thanks alot man
