Default I blew my tranny, what replaces a A1 cable trans???

So a pretty big hole is now blown out the back of my tranny. I just bought this teg last weekend and this happened last Sunday. I will post a picture later. So I need a new trans.

What will replace the A1 trans out of a 1991 RS?

Would it be better to convert it to hydraulic clutch and use the Y21 I have?

Anyone have a tranny near Chicago they want to sell?

Thanks guys, happy tuning!!

I blew a big *** hole in my A1 like 3 weeks ago. I was driving whats your excuse? You can replace it with any B series tranny. S1 J1 Y1 A1. If you get a Ys1 you wil have to use a hydraulic clutch.

My excuse is I was driving... I wasn't even hitting it. I actuall blew up 2 cars not the weekend that just passed but the one prior. I threw a rod through the back of my JDM B16A in my EG civic. Then I bought this teg and blew it up the next day. Just a streak of bad luck here...
