I didn't. I scraped the paint off in the morning with a butter knife, then used some sandpaper, 180 grit to take the paint off, then used 220 grit to smooth the surface out. After I used the polishing bit from the dremel set, but I didn't like that so I went over the letters again with the 220 grit.

There's a stereo shop in downtown Kitchener here that sells it. It was $14, they have it in red and yellow too.

Have a heat shield, took it off to save time. I'm test fitting the turbo on Tuesday, I want to get it done as quick as possible.

Thanks! I cleaned it all this weekend. There are still a couple of rusty bolts that I have to take care of, but it looks way better than before.
PS don't ever buy foamy engine cleaner unless you get two cans.

Correct... it was rusty. Besides the valve cover, there are three more things that aren't so easy to spot.
