low idle NEED HELP!

Default low idle NEED HELP!

like the topic says, my b16 idle is really low and car shuts off a lot. I'm gettin a lot of white smoke comming out of the muffler as well. Are these usual sympthoms of a bad headgasket? thanks guys

Sounds like the head gasket to me...Replaced mine about 3 weeks ago...Check for water on the ground your exhaust...but more than likely its still your head gasket

yeah i see water around there, sweet thanks a bunch for the help! is it hard to replace? and plus if i run like a day or 2 would it ruin my engine?

If you do run like a day or 2 it may warp your head therefore causing you to have to get it machined or even replaced. Its not hard...I did it in about an hour, go ahead and you will probably wanna replace your exhaust and intake manifold gaskets also and all you will need is a like a 10, 12 mm wrench or socket, screwdriver and a few other items plus a torque wrench...Then change your oil and do it again sometime relatively soon to that to make sure you get all the water and coolant out.

Yeah, it's a relatively easy repair. Lot of things to disconnect and take off, but after the first time the next few times will be pretty easy. You can also contact me if you need help.
