Default What plug is this for?

I picked up an harness for my 88 Si because I screwed up the last.

This harness should be from a 88-89 Si.

The engine its going on is a b16a and I can't figure out what this plug goes to. To make matters worse its been depinned so I can't just go by where ever it plugs.

I believe thats for the oil pressure switch. if you look on the block, there will be two plugs just on top of the oil filter, one that is just a one pin(where that big round rubber plug in the pic goes) and one thats the same thing, but with two pins(which is where those two pins your asking about go)

If you cant figure out what i mean by that just let me go and ill go snap a quick pic for ya(luckily enough i have my zc swap sitting in my garage)

The oil pressure is only one Pin. This one is for the coolant sensor.

If the fan switch is the two pronge sensor below the oil sensor then that is already plugged in.

FYI, thats the rear of the block not the front. The ecu, reverse lights, o2 sensor, temp gauge are hooked up.

if those wires are one blue and one black with yellow stripe, they are for the fast idle control valve on the 89-91 Si - your harness must be for 89 because 88 didn't have fast idle control valve - 89 harness will not plug into chassis harness on the driver's side - 89 has round 7-wire connector - 88 has square 5-wire connector - the other 2 wires are for the FICV

seems like you pulled it out off some kind of plug. check your plugs and see what dont work. if something like a sensor dont work, that might be your problem

http://effinmotorworks.com/Effin_MPFI_swap.htm use the colored pinout at the bottom to find out what the wires are for. From what i saw it looks like a blue/yellow and a black yellow. I thought it was EACV so i went out and looked at my eacv wires and they are blue/yellow and black/yellow. The blue/yellow is listed as IACV on the color-coded pin out also.

For those who keep saying its the reverse lights, You are WRONG. I repeat they are not for the reverse lights. What would the reverse light wiring be doing under the intake manifold? Its for a sensor that my year didn't have thats why its extra. Its just missing the plastic plug.
