Default 96 OBD2a wiring confusion??? please help!!

I searched and searched and couldn't find anything.. I bought a 96 civic hatch a while back that recently had a JDM ITR motor it. Im trying to put the same year "stock" SOHC in it. The problem.. the wiring! The motor was taken out by the owner, and left me with all these wires all cut! I'm trying to undo the previous VTEC wiring, and wire back up the stock wires to the stock ecu... Can anyone help me???

As far as I know, there's only one cable needed for the vtec wiring! Just remove the cable from the ECU plug and disconnect it and you're done! GL

That's not a whole lot of information, and like DC_Ek said, there is only 1 wire for Vtec. If you could provide pictures or descriptions of what sensor wires are cut/ripped we could give a little help. Depending on how bad the wires are, the best thing would be to buy another wire harness.

Its real easy, just go to a junkyard (or online) and get a harness from a 96-98 thats not vtec. The engine harness is one piece, it runs from the engine all the way into the inside of the car and plugs directly into the ecu. All you have to do is plug everything up, drop the engine in and put the plugs through the fire wall and plug it into the ecu. You wont have to rewire anything.
