oil leaking from cam?

Default oil leaking from cam?

so i have oil leaking from the cam. i noticed this the other day. and when i look through the holes on the gears i can see that its coming from the cam...is that a gasket i can replace? this head was rebuilt with new parts. what could of caused this?

Maybe the cam seal isn't seating right. To fix your leak, you can try using Permatex Ultra Gray around the seal and see if that helps. If the seal is torn or ripped, just get another one, they are inexpensive. Either way however, it will be a bit time consuming removing the various parts to get to the seal.

well it snot like its pouring out.....im saying like a teaspoon of oil every day..if that...probally not even that much....ill probally just let it leak...but i was just worried it ll start going further down damaging other things....i guess ill fix it when i get new cams.
