Default ECU swap / Modifications

Ive heard of some guys running older ECU's on there D16's from cars like the older SiR and such. and ive seen ECU's tuned by Skunk2 and Comptech.

Ive tried searching for some information on what a good setup would be for my race car but i havent been able to find anything.

thanks

For starters, a P28 would be more than nice, since it's OBD1 (uses less sensors), and there's lots of different chips and programs for that ECU since there's nothing for the P2P, P2E or the P2T (Civic Si's stock ECU).

What sort of car would the P28 come out of? and Is there any certain programs that are considered to be the best.especially for a race application.

thanks!
