p28 ecu and air/fuel ratio gauge
quick question.
with my air/fuel gauge i have in my car (it use to work) now is just grouned out do to the signal wire being cut because my friend was "hooking up my turbo timer and cleaning up the wiring" well he cut the signal so now its just grounded and reads rich all the time. i didnt hook up the gauge so im asking is there a module or something or does the signal wire go directly to the ecu tapped in to the signal wire there? ive tried searchin H-T and google and theres just general instructions for hooking it up. its an autometer gauge with no backlight just power, ground, and signal wire that is purple and its hanging behind my dash. anyone know where i can get a diagram of a p28 to see where the signal is or a harness diagram or just tell me where to tap in at. thanks

it's just reading what the o2 sensor is telling the computer. Wiring instructions to hook up to the o2 sensor are available from autometer's website. Very simple to wire up.
ive seen the instructions on their site but its still doesnt tell me what wire to tap. just said o2 signal wire to powertrain control module (PCM) guessing thats my ecu but which whire is it on my p28?
