Default Noise from rear wheel?

There is a metal on metal sound coming from my rear driver side wheel. I took the wheel off and it makes the noise once every rotation, louder when going in reverse than forward. Since its once every rotation, it gets faster when I would speed up, and gets louder when I'm braking. It doesn't seem to be coming from the caliper, more of behind the rotor area. Anyone have any ideas on what the problem could be?

youre brake pad needs to be replaced, the sound you hear is from these metal shims that are there to let you know it needs replacement
