Default 95 GSR Alternator Install

did a search and couldn't find anything, but here is my question does anybody know how to change out the alternator on a 95 GSR, or have a step by step guide.

Thanks

The axle is cake if you know what you're doing, and it's not hard to figure out if you don't. You can unbolt the master cylinder and pull it out of the way and get the alternator out through the top, but it's a lot less hell to pull the axle. You don't necessarily have to pull all of the belts off, just make sure that you can get the belt back on the alternator, it takes a bit of finesse, but isn't that hard. Other than that it's as straightforward as it comes: unbolt it, unplug it, and pull the damn thing out.

Take off your strut bar and move any wires above the alternator aside. jake up your car and take out the bolt on the bottom bracket. Then completely unbolt your top bracket for some room to get out your alternator. It is going to be very tight, but you just need to rotate the alternator a little when pulling it up. Don't need to take out your axle.

Yea, I was able to get mine out the top also. It's a VERY tight fit but I did it. I pulled it up pulley-end first.

I think I may attempt it also myself, but will have to look to see if any turbo related components will be in the way. also, it's a 180 amp HO alternator that's going in there, so I wonder if it's bigger and may not fit
