Napa clutch disc? need cheap short-term replacement
this summer i'll be picking up a new clutch set anyways, but my disc is causing difficult shifts (i think). anyways, i can get a disc from NAPA for $71. go for it? or does anybody have something they want to sell me, or maybe some opinions? it's hard to get into first and sometimes second and even more seldom the other gears as well. this only happens when stopped. when moving, if i rev-match well, i can get it into those gears. i just pulled the synchronizers from the gearbox and they look SWEET for 176k miles. they look like 50k, so i don't think it's them.
to be more specific, i've always thought that the clutch might be causing the hard shifting. i just rebuilt the transmission, and want to replace the disc to make sure it shifts nicely.
why not just replace the whole clutch for the ammount of work involved.......i mean ya its only 70 bucks or so for the disc but its such a pain in the *** to pull the tranny aparty twice.
pick up a nice clutch kit and be done with it......

first, i have like NO money, second, the tranny is in my dorm room right now awaiting installation. no work involved.
