DO YOU HAVE A FAST SOHC?
OKAY i noe everyones got a b-series and mayb k-series....but i dont noe why but i have one quick sohc non-vtec.....its my sohc 91 crx si motor....i have headers....a used intake and a muffler....but i have been smokin some hatches with b16, any ls swaps and some gsr's...i bought my ef from and old man a year ago...it was stock and everything...but it has like 216,000 miles on it... if u have a fast SOHC....tell me about it and what u got done to it thanx...WELL HERE IT IS

...thats wat i thought...but then i raced my uncles gsr (which i thought was fast) and i won buy 2 car lanes....and i was shocked...just slip on muffler
out of all the b16 swaps i raced which is about 7 of them i only lost to one of them and i was like rite on his fenders....im not tryin to b cocky but damn ive never thought a sohc could do this

Your motor might have been rebuilt. better then stock? higher compression pistons? maybe, I dunno. Ide get it on the Dyno see what numbers you are putting down.

my hf runs 9's
that means for d16a6 with bolt ons runs high 14s low 15s? i think somethin was wrong with those guys' b16s, and your uncles gsr might have been auto? actually what do gsrs run normally?

But it just so happens that I do know what a stock GS-R would run in the quarter mile -
1996 GS-R - 15.5
1991 CRX Si - 16.5
~DISCLAIMER~ These are stock cars, with NOTHING, not even a damn performance air filter on them.

Buddy I think you maybe be on something. My EF with d16 got taken by 2 car lengths. THey were stock swap. I have header, intake, exhaust, and a Mugen Oil cap
. But hey your car may be abnormal. Anyways my b16 gets installed monday with header, exedy clutch, flywheel, intake, and exhaust. No more playin with the SOHC.
Oh and I do know how to drive my car. Only so much my little motor can do.

i guess its rare to find one like mine....im still planning to swap this thing but i wanna see how long can it lasts...or how many more swaps it can hang with

Maybe your uncle cant drive or just let you win so he wouldnt hurt your feelings. I dunno about the b16 swapped ones you raced, but if they are like how i drive, i dont even put in half the effort to race a stock d16a6. I'll let them have the jump and see if i can catch up, granny shifting and not going above 6000rpm just to let them feel like they are special.
You might just have a ZC tranny so it might feel fast because of the short *** gear ratio.

...then there is also weight of each person and their vehicles. don't for get personal effects inside the vehile and the amount of gas in the tank. I bet a GSR with a speaker box, child seat, a 200 pound amateur driver, and a full gas tank would get pulled on by a 110lb wet kid in a stripped, gutted HF, with an 1/8 tank of gas....but i am just talking out loud.
it has to be built of something or just rare like you said, i raced my buds 99 si coupe, and i only had him by half a car. plus mine is gutted in the rear with i/h/e i doubt you beat a gsr, but if you did man more power to ya
