This thread seems to more mimic something you would find in the Kills forum.

Sigh, it is too early for me on Sunday to have to reconstruct your words, so with a little help...
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Honda-Tech Grammar Police &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">I do not know what a GS-R would run, but I am suprised that a SOHC with bolt-ons can hold its own against the DOHC's</TD></TR></TABLE>

But it just so happens that I do know what a stock GS-R would run in the quarter mile -
1996 GS-R - 15.5
1991 CRX Si - 16.5
~DISCLAIMER~ These are stock cars, with NOTHING, not even a damn performance air filter on them.

Buddy I think you maybe be on something. My EF with d16 got taken by 2 car lengths. THey were stock swap. I have header, intake, exhaust, and a Mugen Oil cap . But hey your car may be abnormal. Anyways my b16 gets installed monday with header, exedy clutch, flywheel, intake, and exhaust. No more playin with the SOHC.
Oh and I do know how to drive my car. Only so much my little motor can do.

Maybe your uncle cant drive or just let you win so he wouldnt hurt your feelings. I dunno about the b16 swapped ones you raced, but if they are like how i drive, i dont even put in half the effort to race a stock d16a6. I'll let them have the jump and see if i can catch up, granny shifting and not going above 6000rpm just to let them feel like they are special.

You might just have a ZC tranny so it might feel fast because of the short *** gear ratio.

...then there is also weight of each person and their vehicles. don't for get personal effects inside the vehile and the amount of gas in the tank. I bet a GSR with a speaker box, child seat, a 200 pound amateur driver, and a full gas tank would get pulled on by a 110lb wet kid in a stripped, gutted HF, with an 1/8 tank of gas....but i am just talking out loud.
