Default Si tranny question??

Ive searched for like an hour, found all other nosies but this one......I have a Si tranny (d series) in my hatch. Put the tranny in the other day and i go to pull it out of garage and as soon as i let off the cluthc it made a clunk noise.. tried goingt o 1st and made same clunk noise and you can feel it. I drove it and felt like a motor mount was broke, Changed them out and checked everything. All front end parts are good and mounts too. Can it be the DIFF. making a clunking noise??? All 4 mounts are in and very good shape.. Wheels dont move. Never did it the day before when i took out the DX tranny, just now after the SI tranny went in???

I think that clunking noise is your trans. My DX when it busted it made a clunk then it was hard to put in gear. grinding and ****. When I droped the DX the input shaft I can pull it in and out. something blew up in the trans. Are you leaking transmission OIL at all?

if you just did a trans. swap then something obviously didn't go together right or the trans. is bad. either way you're going to have to open it back up and see.

its probalby the transmission, but it could be the throw out bearing only one of the two clips went in there right.
