sup guys this is my first bike but i have been riding for a while just want to know the goods and the bads about the guy i got a chance to drive my friends 05 r6 but not for a good distance to test it out, but anyways just wants some input from yall iam getting it for a great deal just let me know what yall think.

 

I have ridden an '04 a decent amount. I didn't like the way it felt at all while riding in comparison to my 636. Just felt way too unstable at any speed. Maybe the '05 is different with the 70 series front tire. I haven't had a chance to ride an '05 yet.

Deffinately get a steering damper.

I second 2.2, hated mine(2003)-never felt stable or planted. The front end was just way too nervous for me. Although the engine was a screamer once you got it high enough in the rpm range and it was extremely flickable I just couldn't feel comfortable on it.

 

i got my 05r6 2 days ago and i love it!!! its alot diffrenet than any honda i have riden in the past, the only bad thing is that its harder finding nuetral than on a honda and its alot lighter in the front so the bike will pick it self up if u open the throtle unlike a honda 600rr... pm me if u have questions

i got an 05 red r6, only problem i have with it is that its too light so u dont feel as stable, and it wont pop into 3rd gear sometimes.

 

I ride an 05 R6, feels great to me, I wouldn't trade it for any other 600 out there

Lots of great reviews on the '05 R6. You may want to do a search on the Internet for them. They also offer comparisons with the other major 600cc super sports.

 

05 r6 pride right here. it's great, the front is a little light but it's cool. the whole bike is light, i like it a lot more than my 03 gsxr 600.

 

im about to buy a 05 R6 and i was wondering if anybody has the Raven color R6. i saw one today and it looks sick. thats the color that i wanna get too.
