Default d16y8 mini swap and turbo

has anyone ever did a d16y8 mini swap and then turbo the motor???? cause im thinking about doin it???

ok mini me- making a non vtec engine vtec by swapping heads.

D16Y8- vtec= no mini me

doin a mini me then turbo it has been done by bauley civic, our moderator

Nope, never been done. Only been done with a z6 head by Bauley. Don't even try it cause it won't ever work. /sarcasim

If you wanted to know if anyone has ever done it, you should have searched first. If you were actually in the process of doing it and had a question then you could make a new thread if it hadn't already been covered. Start using the search button, and don't limit your searches to just this forum. Look at the FI forum, and http://www.dseries.org

^quite a few people there and at turbod16.com have turbo mini me's of the y7 block with y8 head

Yeah it can be done. If you got a 96+, converting to obd1 is a good idea.
