Default b16 annoying idling problem

i have a 91 hf with a b16 and it was recently converted to obd1 i have a series of ecu i have been trying on it and still no luck i re did the map sensor but what it is doing is it idles ok but when you give it gas and rev it up or your runnnig at high rpms and push in the clutch or at any rpms for that matter than it surges but it surgesdown to about 400 rpms almost dies then picks back up and idles at about 1200 rpm i have a pr3 ecu, a p06 ecu with a rays racing chip in it and i have a jun racing ecu. now the jun seems to run the best smoother acceleration and idling it is also the one that give more of a fuel curve. please help its driving me nuts.

thanks in advance.

i had the same problem..do you have the jdm b16 throttle body? if you do then dissasemble the diahram that connects to the throttle body linkage. that was the cause for me.

maybe the map sensor built into the a2's manifold is slightly different in some way? and thats why the ecu doesnt like it.

just a thought.

may have to do with your obd 1 conversion. check that the map sensor wires are in the right location at the ecu and map sensor pins. map voltage, ref, ground.
