Hi,

I have some camshafts lying around and I am trying to identify what type they are...here is some pics of the actual cams:

here is my cam lobe height measurement with an electronic caliper ( instrument precision: +/-0.001 in)

INTAKE:
Primary: 1.325 in
Mid: 1.435 in
Secondary: 1.365 in

EXHAUST:
Primary: 1.310 in
Mid: 1.410 in
Secondary: 1.350 in

Someone can help me identify those cams? They do not seem to match USDM (with or without ATTS)

Anyone happen to have the cams lobe heights for JDM type S cams ??

I also noticed today that letter J & W are written in the middle of one cams and J& K on the other cams...

anyone can help??

Nobody is running type S cam in here???

i know this is an old tread but i thought it would be good to keep info together

anyway i just measured my type s cams and i got :

INTAKE:
Primary: 1.332 in
Mid: 1.462 in
Secondary: 1.377 in

EXHAUST:
Primary: 1.336 in
Mid: 1.436 in
Secondary: 1.375 in

 

anyone ???

 

I suggest going to your local honda specialist

Looks like his are stock cams then.
