Default 90 Integra Transmission Problem

I knew my transmission was bad, it grinded everytime i went into 5th gear. Today i went into second and i heard a weird noise. I tried to keep going by giving it gas and it would not move. Any gear i switched into, my car would not move. The clutch and shifter feel good. What can cause my transmission not to engage. Thanks

lots of things could cause it not to engage. but you need to be more specific. will the car go into gear, then won't go anywhere once it's in gear? or when you push the stick to first gear, it goes and feels like the gear isn't engaging?

When i put it into 1st and give it gas, the car will not go, it acts like each gear is neutral. I can not move my car at all, its broken down and i still haven't gotten it home.

did you look underneath the car? today i thought my tranny was blown when the gears wouldnt engage, but i got out and looked and the bolt that holds the shift stabilizer bar to the tranny came off. before it happened i noticed that my car wouldnt go straight from 4th to 5th; i had to move it into neutral, move it all the way to the right, and then up into 5th. now that its fixed i no longer have to do that BS into 5th gear. but if your shifter feels completely normal, your tranny is probably K.I.A., which is shitty

try putting it into third and slip the clutch very slowly and see if it will move.

Could be your clutch has blown. That happened to my stock clutch. The springs in the disc break out of their perch and wedge themselves inbetween stuff causing the clutch to never disengage or never engage, depending on where it went.
