Default B16a with ITR gearbox
my eg6 b16a is getting an ITR gearbox fitted on wednesday (helical LSD, short ratio gears), what sort of performance increases can i expect? i know it wont have any bhp increases but will it increase torque?

no it wont increase power or torque. The shorter ratios will give you faster acceleration though. Once you get into 4th you may start to lose out a bit tho but by then you will be hitting 140 odd km/h :-)

oh, i forgot to add the lsd will give you better traction if you didnt know already :-)

nothing except you can launch better. the gears are exactly the same as a b16 tranny unless you got the newer type r tranny with the 4.7 final drive.
