84 CRX Swaps
I found a guy thats going to sell me 3 CRXs for 300 bucks. One 84 runs, an 86 is wrecked in the front left and another 84 is it perfect shape but doesnt run. All are 5spd. What swaps can I do in an 84. The mount locations look kind of wierd so Im just checking. I really want to get these cars but I want to make sure I can do a swap. I would do some searching but I have to know real quick.
Thanks

The 84s are carb'd...kinda limits what you can do without converting to fuel injection. Which would be great if the 86 was an Si....it could be a donor to the straight bodied 84.
The 86-89 Integra engine (d16a1) bolts in to the 1st gen chassis.

Only the Si was fuel injected and they didn't start making the Si until 1985.
I really urge you to check out the Redpepper link I gave you above.
The 84-87 CRX information there is a lot more reliable then what you would find here on a board caters to the 88-91 models.
