I'm doing an auto to manual swap on my car.
will the automatic shifter console work or do i have to get a whole new one?
is there a braket or something that i need to buy to mount the shift boot?

anyone know which one it might be?

which piece are you referring to? no. #5?

All you really need is the shift boot and cage (#20) and a couple of screws (#34)

The cage mounts the boot to the console.

 

yes i'm, referring to # 5; the shifter console

I bought a type r shift boot and it has that cage...have to get the screws from honda.

are there holes in the console to screw the cage into?

yeah the screws mount up to the underside of the console there is a metal cage that goes around the shifter boot

They're just regular screws ... but if you must have OEM

 

go buy shiftboot and you'll have a manual console
