Default what pistons for more power..for h23

alright I have an h23, and I've been told about the type S pistons...but I don't know which ones to use in my engine...could someone help me out?

Get a set of OEM USDM or JDM H22 pistons. They will bump you up a good deal on compression; the Type-S H22's will be too high of a compression w/ your H23 head.

so just get some h22 pistons?
would I have to do anything with the block? or get anything else...or will they match right up?

Make sure you get the right piston: either A or B, you gotta check your block to see. And while that should be enough, I would personally either do it myself or have a machine shop check the cylinder-to-piston clearances to make sure they're in spec.

Doing this, you will need a new head gasket and rings, and might as well do normal maintenance stuff while you're in there (timing belt, water pump, etc)
