Have you tried taking off the negative cable on battery for a few minutes, reconnecting, and seeing if that turned it off?

If not, try searching for resetting the SRS light on the forums.

If that doesn't work, possibly you fried something on ecu?

You can use a paper clip in place of the SRS connecter......

Check all the fuses, engine bay compartment and under the dash. Once everything's good, start by reseting the SRS control unit.

turn off ignition
connect the paperclip and turn the ignition on and count to 6...light turns off
count to 2 and a half, disconnect the clip...light is on
count to 2 and a half, reconnect the clip... light off
count to 2 and a half, disconnect the clip...light blinks
turn off the ignition
count to 10
start the car

In my experience, the light goes away on it's own when the problem's fixed. But that might not always be the case. Regardless, if the problem still exists, the light will keep coming back... just like a check engine light.

The SRS system was activated somehow.... like unplugging the airbags or the airbags were deployed or are missing.

that means you should follow the above to turn it off, you must reset it, the light should go on when you start your car but then turn off.....reasons for it staying on are people installing stereos, unhooking the drivers seat (connecter under it), etc..and turning the key in the ignition while these things are unhooked, it causes this crap and usually resetting it fixes the problem....

look at the fuse panel under the dash... above the fuse panel there will be a yellow clip that has two wires... disconnect that yellow clip and then follow the instructions... afterwards just plug it back in...

the method works fine...

Ok, I just did it to my car yesterday and it works fine.....pull out the yellow plug and get a paper clip and open it up so you can stick the 2 ends into the two holes, you don't want a big paper clip or it won't fit......do the above instructions and it will erase the memory, which causes the light to go away....Now if the light keeps comming back on after you erase the memory (say a few days later) I suggest you get your SRS system checked out as there could be a vital problem....
