Default type r: rear lower sub frame

do all type r's have weld marks like this? top left..right above the sway bar




because this is mines

Ummm those arent welds....they are seam sealer...

Did you replace your rear sub frame with an ITR one? If I ever have a swaybar tear out that is what I would do. Looks clean!

I wonder where you could source a Type-R subframe, short of finding an R shell?

my sub frame came like that. is having seam sealer important?

You can purchase a replacement subframe from the dealer.

everything on the car has a part number everything you can buy them from the dealer.
