Is it okay to go without it for a few days? I'm talking about the rubber piece that fits in the underside of the spring/shock upper mount. I forgot to put one of them back in this evening, and it will probably be a few days or maybe even next weekend before I have time to take the shock back off and put it in there.

 

you might want to do so soon...the metal contact isn't so good for the spring/coil because the cupping on top has the ends of the bolts on it.

 

dammit... can't believe I forgot that, maybe I can pull it off again tomorrow, and use those damn spring compressors again

 

You can go quite a while with it not on there.

We either forgot to put one on, or it was old and broke off on an airbourne launch in Misfit's ITR...and it was fine for months.
