just finished one the other day. cases were glassbeaded, jetwashed, handwashed, hot air dryed, masked and sprayed in VHT cast iron gray. all fasteners and brackets degreased and glassbeaded. all bolt holes were thread chased.
INSPECTED:
*syncronizer clearance and condition
*dog wear on each gear
*bearing condition
*mainshaft and countershaft runout
*mainshaft shim clearance (.0055")
*shift fork thickness
*reverse idler clearance

REPLACED:
*input shaft bearing,
*countershaft needle bearing
*all seals
*countershaft retaining ring.
*fill plug washer

i use genuine Honda parts, Honda Manual Transmission Lubricant and genuine Hondabond only.

this is a PL3-3000 code, 20 spline, 1 groove on the input shaft. standard Si ratios. guaranteed.
$425 plus actual shipping from Massachusetts if you are interested.
