Default gsr wont go into any gear

I have a jdm gsr swap in a eg hatch, not that it matters. Anyways, Im driving along and i felt my clutch getting more and more sensetive throughout the day and just thought it was nothing or it was my imagination. Then it got progessively worse to the point where it wouldnt go into anygear. I looked under the car and theres no tranny fluid leaking or even wet. When i press the clutch its like putting youre foot into a bucket of water and it dosent even return to original position. I managed to make it home 60 miles with using 5th gear alone, it was a miracle. Anyway, my friend says it might be the slave cylinder went. I have no idea. If anyone knows what it is, can they post how to fix it or a thread that shows.

i had a problem where my car wouldnt go into gear when it was running. so i decided to put a new clutch in it and i pulled my old clutch out, the springs on the disc where in a million peices. i dont know if that helped you out any. but if it were me i would pull your tranny off and see what your clutch looks like.

the clutch is fine, it was a very gradual process. Its the master cylinder.
