I have a 90' GS that came with every damn option except for a/c. Why a car would come with a power sunroof and no air conditioning is beyond me, but it did. Well I'm in the desert and I need a/c. Ive done some searching on the internet and I can get everything I need for like 600$ brand new and its all OEM parts. Well that sounds pretty good to me and I would like to do it. I know I will also need to install a temp. control cluster out of a DA that came with air conditioning. My question is, how hard is it to install a/c into a car that didnt have a/c as a dealer installed option?? I think as far as bolting the parts up it shouldnt too hard but what worries me is wiring it all together. Would there be alot of extra wiring I would have to do to make it work??

 

It is possible to do, but a lot of work! I mean you will have to install brakets for the compressor. The wiring migth be a bit tricky too unless you have a good electronics background.
