Default 88 CRX Drive Axle Problem!

I have an 88 CRX DF with an SI motor (D16A6). The problem I am having is with my driver's side drive axle. It is too short! I have bought the correct one (as far as the automotive warehouse is concerned) and every time I turn sharp to the left it pops apart and breaks. I have already replaced the oil pan because it poped off and punctured it. What do I need to do to resolve this problem or what is causing this? The motor mounts are not broken and it does have coilover lowering shocks and springs. The front end seems to be in alignment. This is driving me nuts! Any help would be appreciated.

do you have frame damage? is the circlip on your axle? if both of these are fine, try a different store.
