Searched.....no straight answers. Ls rod bolts + rpm limit.
stock? some do 8000. not for long, rest assured.
ARP? a heck of a lot more than you'll ever actually do. but crank needs balancing, main caps need more stability (read: block girdle).
none of this really applies if you aren't worried about how long your block lasts, since LS blocks are cheap.

Do not rev them repeatedly to 8,000+. I did, made 6 passes and spun a bearing. I would say 7,5000 but even then I would be worried. Just get the ARP's and sleep well at night.
i would be very worried at 7500 without ARP rod bolts at least. i plan on spinning 7500 with ARP rod bolts and no other bottom end mods, other than a VTEC oil pump.
I did about 7,500-8k on my cammed LS. I spun a bearing within 2 months. Get ARP rod bolts. Seriously.
I was lucky, I spun a bearing at low speeds (a few feet from my driveway) but it could have been alot worse.

yeah they can but there is alot of factors that determine if they will last. I wouldnt do it on stock bolts because they are unpredictable. How was it revved before you got it?? ARP and be done or keep to the stock rev limit sometimes not all the time or you will regret it
dont go above 7500 with the stock rod bolts expecally if they allready have high milage. I wouldent event put money into the stock rods tho just save a little more and buy aftermarket ones. After you buy the rod bolts for 90 bucks resized the holes 20 a rod and shot peened them for another 20 each you will allready be spending alot for stockers. thats what I did and I wish I would have saved a done it right
