s2000 (not mine)
I'm not a good photographer, but I'm trying to learn. My camera is a Nikon Coolpix 2100. Plan on getting a Canon a95. But on to the pictures. This was just some guys car that we passed and he was cool about me taking pictures of his car.

I asked out of courtsy. I would be kinda upset if I was sitting in front of my car and some kid came up and starting taking pictures of it without asking.

Now dude... for those night pictures you just took, you will definately need a tripod and have your shutter speed really slow. Flash is not required.

I got the camera because I had a baby girl and that was all I could afford at the time.
Unfortunately I didn't have the tripod with me due to the fact that me and my friend were just going to get something to eat. I also try not to use the flash because it sucks. Thanks for the tip about the shutter speed.

Will do....I'm use to taking point and shoot pictures of people and my daughter. I guess taking pictures of cars is a completely different thing.

i dont have a tripod either so i use my knee to make the camera more stable. works like a charm
