Well I went to install my clutch on my b18a1 motor only to find out that I had purchased the wrong clutch for my tranny. I was under the impression that it was a 90-91, but I was wrong. I now know that the tranny is a 92-93.

I'm trying to figure out what year my motor is now for future purchases. Here is the tranny code......

There is a stamping on the Head near the exhaust ports that has the year of production.

I can tell you from the pics in a second that you have the 92-93 obd1 B18A engine and tranny. Thats not a bad thing, just need a harness adaptor.

 

How can you tell that it's a 92-93. If you are 100% positive then I need to make some phone calls now. If your not sure I'll just wait till I get home. Thanks for the help so far.

 

im pretty sure ys1 trannies were only 92-93, and your injector plugs are grey, signifing ob1 (92-93) teg

 

Well to confirm the motor is a 92. Thank you for the help everyone and I will be hitting up rywire.com for the harness and conversion adapter.
