93 LS motor in DX CRX, engine harness
i tried searching but no luck, i was wondering that if instead of switching from pre-obd to obd1, can i just take the ENTIRE harness from the integra and put it in my DX CRX, including whats behind the dash and everything? any help is appreciated guys
Well if you switch EVERY harness and wire guess what, you are running OBD-1 if done correctly; too much work, just get a conversion harness from http://www.rywire.com and call it a day.
i did something like that before, the amount of work depends on how the car is.
for me, i saw it as the easiest way because i was just changing shells completely, aka interior, engine, electric, suspension, so since everything was already off, why not just pull the harness along with it?
well, i guess the harness i scrapped had water damage, too.
EDIT---> i just realized you're talking about an integra, since its from an integra i wouldn't do it, because you're going to need to shorten the harness in certain places anyway, and it has different taillights, might have different style headlights, the bumper light harness might be routed differently, now this all can be fixed, but its more work than just converting to odb1.
