Default Best way to clean your Head/block?

Hey guys what do you think is the most effective way to clean an engine up?

I dont want a gloss shine but i do want the block to look new.

first get some simple green and a brush and wire wheel for a drill...get most of it off that u can then take it to the car wash

hot tank then get this paint called " stainless steel paint " it looks ******* amazing on a block...
heres mine...
