i have the aem big rotor kit up front and my rotors need to be cut, but i'm not sure if i can do that since these are x drilled and i think they have the coating on them so they don't crack... so i was just going to buy new rotors but aem doesn't make them anymore, so can i just buy any 12" rotor?? i think power slot took over the aem line... so i guess i should give them a call..

 

I also heard that power slot took over the AEM brakes. Give them a try first.

 

I would check with AEM (or Powerslot) first to make sure you can't have them resurfaced. Back when I got mine, they were like $400something just for the rotors. I'd check first before I shelled out that much money again.

Not sure how much they cost now, however.

If I had mine, I'd just give them to you. Too bad some scammer had to scam them from me along with my car and everything else.

 

alright.. guess i'll give em a call monday. i would much rather resurface them if it's possible.. if not i'll just pick up some 4x100 12" brembos that will work with the aem brackets. shamoo - how much did you sell that gsxr for??

Sorry for the late reply, I was out all weekend.

I believe I sold it for $3500 or something around there. It was a salvage title. (That somehow corrected itself to a clean title because it was titled in NJ)
