Default what should i look at first?

i have a little problem, the problem has persisted on and off for the past month and now i don't have any light from the cluster nor the rear tail lights, i keep blowing/melting the bottom 6th from the right fuse. has anyone else had this problem? or better yet, know where i should start looking? im trying to find a fuse box to replace the one in my car now just to see if that will help. anyone else think that two wires are grounding out eachother, if so do you know the path the wires take from that point. this is getting really aggrivating, so any help would be appreciated.

i had a similar problem. leaking water from the windshield onto the wiring harness. I've also heard of fuse boxes going bad.

Interesting, my dad's Toyota pick-up just had a similar problem with cluster lights and tail lights not working. Turned out to be a loose wire near the switch. As much as it is a pain, I'd check the wiring from the switch to the fuse box.
