Is there any difference between H22a and H23a1 intake manifold ??? My H22a was broken so I put a H23a1 from my engine swap...is there any difference between the two ???

wtf... do you mean TB? because the h23a1 manifold does not bolt up to the h22a head.

 

One of the mounting screws was broken and ****, and needed to be drilled out and stuff, so he just used my H23 one.... the yellow circle is the part im talking about, might be called soemthing else !!!

how you got the IM to bolt up is completely beyond me... you sure it was an h22 IM? i think the size of the runner outlets is different? and the bolt holes wouldnt really line up

 

the top of the intake manifolds between the H23 and H22 are the same. the lower section, below the runners are different. so if he had to replace that section, thats what was replace. (runners section with vac tube) The lower section on H22 IM is for the Vtec and same with H23..... other than that the manifolds can be interchanged.--- this being the section that was circled

 

plenums are interchangable, but the runner section have different bolt locations. so the runner section will not interchange.
