I think I like it more without power steering. It is more responsive. However, I'm sure with the technology today, especially with race teams, electronic power steering and other factors such as the steering rack can make the steering just as or even more responsive. But I think it's all preference. I like how it tightens around a turn.

If it's in there already just leave it in there. I prefer to leave mine in and I don't miss the possable 1HP or a little bit more torque. I don't think you would feel much if any of a difference if you remove it.

there are alot of threads bout power steering in the search function, having said that, the debate is still up in the air. Some people love the no power steering and how it feels on the road, and others hate it without power steering. imo..it ant worth it.

i like my car without power steering it does feels like the tires are more connected with the steering wheel it reminds me of driving a go kart i just like that feeling but i think it is a preference between people and plus it keeps the bay cleaner looking

I like power steering although i do have to agree w/o power steering does let you feel more apart of the car ... but you should just stick w/ the power steering if you already have it

I'd go either way. No powersteering cleans up the engine bay a lot, so I don't miss it. For a 2000lb car, power steering just isn't that much of a necessity. On a 5000lb truck with 33's tho... that'd be different./\

to start off, everyone has a different answer for this.
IMO, I like not having it. You can really feel the road which is important when really pushing the car around turns. It does lighten the car too, but the difference is negligible. Most people with ps say it's a pita to drive without it, but those of us that don't have it know that your forearms may hurt a little for the first week, then you don't even notice anymore. It's only a hassle when turning the wheels at a stop. In a honda it is by no means necessary, but in a heavier car...

true, but mine with power steering is like driving a go cart. there isnt any leeway wat so ever. unlike my buddy who has a 97 dx w/o PS and has more leeway then me. i ono its all about what u want...

keep it unless u want to gain a few ponies at the track or sumtin. but when u get done working out or doing sumtin for a long time and ur tired it sucks. the only time its difficult is when its not moving. also lowering ur car makes it easier to turn with out power steering
