What's the biggest wheel size that will fit on a ep3 without rubbing? or what's the ideal wheel size?

 

Biggest i believe would be 18"s . Ideally ep3 owners prefer 16s mostly and sometimes 17s

16x7 with a 205/45/16 is about ideal.

 

I have run all of the following sizes with great results

17x8 225/45 Azenis

17x7.5 215/45 Yokohoma

16x7 205/55 Azenis

16x8 225/50 Toyo

ideal offset is between 40-42

any rubbing halo? BTW. what's in your suspension?

 

very slight rubbing but nothing a little fender roll can't take care of...My suspension is stock for right now waiting on the Buddy Clubs to get here..aarrrgg taking forever

 

i am currently running with 17x7 with a 42mm offset and 215-45-17 tires. if i went to 16s then i would try to keep that same offset and width and go with 215-50-16 tires.

He said what's biggest, not what's "ideal" (which is subjective). Anyhow, I believe the biggest I've ever seen on an EP is 18", but who knows... you might be able to try 19" (though I have to admit I have no idea why anyone would bother...)

 

What matters more is the exterior size of the tires, not just the rims. You can put bigass balloon tires on 15's and have rubbing problems, or put 20-series profile tires on 20's and still have enough room.
