I cant wait to buy my hondata and get rid of the FMU crap POS. After racing a LS1 TA today my CEL came on and I noticed my car running real rich. I would let off and my fmu is stuck to where the fuel pressure is high. It bogs so bad and it gets on my freakin nerves.

Just thought I vent...

Oh, I did beat the TA by a car length.

Nice kill Art...I'm also having some fuel problems most likely related to the high fuel pressures that an FMU setup will give you. The hondata is looking better everyday...

Well at least you guys had a more decent setup. I stood by this blue box POS in my car on the greddy kit and after removing a couple parts with better ones the fuel went way out of wack and this POS fairy box can't compensate on fuel for any of the changes. Ahh hondata is coming this weekend thank god! Good luck Art and hope you get it soon man. Nice kill btw

Yep, IMHO a FMU is a *band-aid* approach to fueling a turbo vehicle.

I'm not putting a turbo on my car until I get a Hondata everybody seems to have trouble with Fmu, and why not with 100 pounds fuel pressure, that's crazy........I'm going to learn from your bad experience. Anything else you learned the hard way that you would care to share???

 

hondata isn't fool proof.... fmu's are ok, and not everyone has a problem with them
