Default 205/40/17 and springs

im plannin on gettin new rims tires and springs here soon. i think ima order some falken ziexs off ebay for around 300, some rota subzeros for about 550, and try n get some tein or eibach springs for less that 150....i was wondering if my ride will be farely good witgh the springs and the rim/tire combo? i do not want a bad bumpy ride, so do u think it will ride fine?

btw this is on my 97 ek hatch

It's gonna ride rough no matter what you do...and you're gonna wear tires, no matter how mild of a drop you do. 17's are to big....they fit yes, hell 18's fit, but in order to maintain a nice ride and good tire wear, 17's are to big. I would suggest H&R's....the Eibach's don't lower it evenly and the H&R's are a better quality spring.....speaking from 9 years experience.....

i think depending on what coilover system you get will determine whether you'll have a soft or harsh ride...try saving up and go with some omni's for example...you could get them custom...ie 10k frt w/ 6k rears...daily driver...
